Joshua Stone wins double awards!

On April 5, 2006, first-year graduate student Josh Stone got good news -- twice. Josh is the recipient of one of three 2006 Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards sponsored by the NIU Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center. Josh has also received one of ten University Fellowships for 2006-2007. These fellowships are based not only on GPA, but also the nominee's full record of achievements. To date, Josh has published two articles in the SAGE Encyclopedia of Prisons (2005), been the recipient of two small grants, and was awarded the James L. Massey Social Justice Award (2004), the Dean's Award (2005), and a Frances Rowe Katz thesis award (2006).
