Scholarly Interests: I am a family sociologist whose research focuses on work, family, and well-being; parenthood and children; and family life transitions, with the specific focus on variations by gender, socioeconomic statuses, and culture. I seek to understand the ways in which the opportunity structure and cultural beliefs lead to individual choices and well-being in navigating work and family life.
